How It's Made
Made by Hand
Watch our pieces take shape in the hands of the artisans who make them.
Dhokra · Cast in Time
From Wax to Brass
Shaped in wax
Every design begins as a wax model, built up by hand from fine threads of wax.
Wrapped in clay
The wax model is covered in layers of fine clay and left to dry.
Cast in fire
The mould is heated, the wax melts away, and molten brass is poured into the space it leaves.
Finished by hand
The clay is broken open and the piece is cleaned and polished. The mould is used only once.
Five Traditions, Made by Hand
No two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Cast in Time
Shaped in wax, born in fire.
A GI-tagged craft · over 4,000 years old
Dhokra is an ancient non-ferrous metal casting technique that uses the lost-wax process and has been practised in India for over 4,000 years. A detailed wax model is made by hand, encased in clay, and the wax is then replaced with molten metal to form the final piece. Known for its rustic beauty and motifs inspired by tribal culture, Dhokra brings together precision, heritage and sustainability in a single craft.
Set in Stone
Made by hand for everyday living.
Hand-carved white marble
White marble is carved, shaped and polished entirely by hand. Some pieces are finished with fine channels set with brass motifs such as palms, elephants and blooms. Natural veining means every tray, platter and tealight holder carries its own pattern, so no two are ever the same.
The Forest Forge
Shaped by fire, hammer and the forest.
A GI-tagged art form from Bastar, central India
The Iron Craft of Bastar is a traditional technique rooted in the region's rich tribal heritage. Artisans skilfully hand-forge wrought iron into intricate decorative and functional pieces, often inspired by nature and local folklore. Known for its rustic charm and durability, this craft beautifully reflects the essence of Bastar's cultural identity.

GI-tagged Pashmina and Sozni embroidery · Kashmir
Pashmina is the fine wool combed by hand from the soft undercoat of Himalayan goats. In Kashmir it is spun by hand on a wooden wheel and woven on a hand loom into stoles of rare lightness and warmth. Our cashmere stoles are handwoven and embroidered by hand with Sozni, Kashmir's needlework of fine, close stitches placed one at a time. Our Pashmina carries the GI tag for Kashmir Pashmina, and the Sozni embroidery carries its own GI tag.
